Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and President Sampaio Meet To Discuss
Alliance of Civilizations Istanbul Forum

President Sampaio will brief the Secretary-General about recent progress on Alliance of Civilizations initiatives, including growing political support for the Alliance and preparations for the next Alliance of Civilizations Forum, due to be held on 2-3 April in Istanbul, Turkey.

Also on the meeting agenda will be the outcomes of the Alliance of Civilizations Ministerial Meeting, which is taking place on 24 September at 8.30am.

Members of the press are invited for a photo opportunity at 11:30am on 24th September in the Secretary-General’s Conference Room.
